Pricing
You pay in credits. 1 credit = $0.0001. A video run is a small base fee plus a download charge per artifact, plus per-second AI rates when the AI analyses the content. Articles and other web pages have no duration, so they're priced flat instead (see below). Either way, the quote you see before running is the most you'll ever pay.
Base fee
Every run costs 50 credits ($0.0050). It covers checking the content and fetching the metadata, thumbnail and description, which every run includes. An identical recent extraction is served from cache for free.
Download rates
| Artifact | Rate |
|---|---|
| Metadata + thumbnail + description | Included in the base fee |
| Transcript | 10 credits flat |
| Comments | 20 credits flat |
| Audio file | 0.2 credits/sec |
| Video file | 0.5 credits/sec |
Charged for every artifact you request, whether it feeds the AI or you just download the files. If an artifact turns out unavailable (a video with no subtitles, hidden comments), its line item is refunded automatically.
AI rates
| Analysis | Covers | Per second | Credits / sec |
|---|---|---|---|
| Text analysis | Transcript and/or comments | $0.00005 | 0.5 |
| Audio analysis | The AI listens to the audio | $0.0001 | 1 |
| Video analysis | The AI watches the video (audio included) | $0.0002 | 2 |
- Text counts once. Transcript and comments are both text, so selecting both still charges a single text analysis, not two.
- Audio costs more than text. Listening to raw audio is heavier for the AI than reading a transcript, and the rates reflect that.
- Video includes audio. If you select full video analysis, the AI already hears the audio track, so audio analysis is not billed on top of it.
Articles and photo posts
Not everything has a clock. A URL with no video — an article, a recipe blog, any ordinary web page — takes the article path: we read the page text and images, and the run is priced flat: the base fee, plus 50 credits for the AI pass when you set a schema (100 credits ≈ $0.010 total). No per-second component, no per-artifact download rates.
Photo posts and carousels (an Instagram photo, a TikTok slideshow) are extracted from their images and caption, not a video — the platform's reported "duration" is just the background music track, and never drives the price. They're priced flat and per-slide instead: the base fee, plus 10 credits per slide for the AI pass when you set a schema, plus 50 credits flat for reading the text (a 6-slide post with AI on comes to 160 credits ≈ $0.016). Comments still bill at their normal flat rate when selected; transcript, audio and video aren't offered on photo posts.

downloads (transcript + video file) 100 credits
text analysis 0.5 credits/sec × 180 sec = 90 credits
video analysis 2 credits/sec × 180 sec = 360 credits
total 600 credits ≈ $0.0603-minute video, downloads only (everything)
base fee 50 credits
downloads (all artifacts) 156 credits
total 206 credits ≈ $0.021Quotes and reconciliation
Before each run we quote the exact cost from the video's duration and your selected inputs, and debit it up front. If a platform doesn't report the duration, we quote a worst case of 5 minutes, then measure the real duration during the run and refund the difference automatically. The adjustment appears as a credit in your billing history. You are never charged more than the quoted amount — that holds even when the content turns out longer than the worst case.
Videos longer than 60 minutes are rejected at submit, before anything is charged.
Failures are free
If a run fails for any reason (private video, removed video, a transient error on our side), the full debit is refunded automatically. You only pay for completed extractions.
Cached results are free
If an identical extraction (same URL, schema and inputs) completed within the last 30 days, the result is reused and nothing is charged: no base fee, no download charge, no AI charge.
First top-up bonus
The first time you top up, whatever the amount, we add 1,000 bonus credits to your balance on top of the credits you bought. Once per account, applied automatically when the payment lands.
